Yakimix-ED

me with Sofi

my sick li'l baby that day :(
yummy desserts

Saturday pig-out with my family + 1 (Ryanne's cuzin cum BFF - Sofia)

After the BFF's Tae Kwon Do class we headed stright to Yakimix Macapagal... since reservation's not allowed, it took us more than an hour waiting for ourselves to be seated.

When we arrived , we're 16th on the list... since it was a Saturday it's expected that it'll be jampacked ~ and it is! Good thing though the resto had a free flowing iced tea for those who are waiting :)

Kids below 4ft are free of charge  while kids below 12 pay only P380

Adult:  P580 without drinks...

It was fun though, good bonding with the kids as well as they will enjoy preparing their food ala "cooking mama"

The food's great - wide choices...i love the deserts and tempura ! yum yum :)

How I lost 25 pounds in 20 days! Too good to be true? Read on....

After having two kids at the age of 30...I never really thought that I could still go back to my high school figure.. LOL - after my second baby, I was 30 pounds overweight...

A family member who was also overweight introduced a product to me which made him lose almost 50 lbs.

I was so skeptical that it was possible...I even thought it was a scam...but to my "depression" I tried the product and said..."it's just 20 days anyway" so to make the long story short...VOILA! after 20 days...I was down to 110 from 130...and few days after I lost another 5 pounds ( I will explain further why is that so)... to give you an overview on how the protocol was done...please continue...

To my excitement, I started with the program even if I was advised to take it after my monthly period coz I might gain weight during menstrual days - which is true!

Technically, you have to start with 2 days of gorging / overeating - - (happiness) you shouldn't starve your self on the first 2 days...eat as many food as possible...eat those that are rich in sweets, oil, salty, preservatives...anything that will make you gain weight for the next two days...while doing the overeat thing make sure you use the sublingual drops (10 drops 30 minutes before meal)

The 500 calorie diet will start on the 3rd day and you will have to do the diet for the next 20 days...as you do the 3rd - 20th day you will use the sublingual drops as advised ( even  if you will not eat your breakfast, you still have to use the drops) after 20 days of using the drops you will still go the 500 calorie diet for two more days but this time without the drops. 500 calorie diet will be done just for a minimum of 20 days and then you can eat normally after that (but no sugar and starch for the next 3-4 weeks as it will help reset upir metabolism as well...

I have noticed that even if I just eat small amount of food, I do not feel so hungry at all...and I feel so full easily

And just a heads up, that you might experience sever headache on your 3rd to 4th day (some maybe more) as your body is adjusting with the small amount of food you are now taking ...

At first I never thought I would survive the 500 calorie diet - eating food that is either: steamed, boiled, or grilled - - no seasoning, no salt, no oil, no sugar, no processed food whatsoever....but you can take fruits (but not those that are rich in sugar like banana) and vegetables as an alternative if you do not want the meat part...

It was so hard at first coz I have to weigh the raw food using a kitchen scale and compute the calories to make sure it won't go beyond 500 calories for a day's meal...

Also, I am not a fan of water :( but I have learned to drink lots of water as it is required to drink at least 2 liters a day...

With regards to gaining weight during menstrual days, I have noticed that as the monthly period nears, the drop in weight stopped (plateau) I did some research and found that we normally gain excess weight during mens atleast 3-6 pounds or more... but you'll soon lose them...
So after reaching my goal of being 20 lbs lighter I have noticed that I lost 5 more lbs after my monthly period making the total lost pounds 25 ...

Experience wise:  I must say this HCG protocol is indeed the most effective weight loss of all the weight loss products I have tried and I have never been this happy with the result.
It is a bit pricey P6900 but it was worth buying :)

Diet = discipline and determination
RESULT:  25 lbs lighter :)

I did the protocol last week of April and ended May --- since then I have never gained another pound but I made sure that the calorie intake after the diet is within normal range of 1500 calories a day :)

Hope this all inspired those who are wanting to lose their excess weight for the longest time... it's possible if you are determined :)

Oh by the way, I did this together with my husband who was 160 onset of the program...after 20 days he went down to 130 lbs but more than the drop in weight, we were so delighted to see the results of his blood works -- he has fatty liver before and cholesterol was beyond the normal limits...after doing the diet...all the results were OKAY! all within the normal range and his doctor was also pleased with the result...

And we started to eat the healthy way hehe :)

Budget Friendly Out of town trip

Given the opportunity and right resources..I would travel around the globe... (wow!) but of course, before we explore other places, it is best to discover what our lovely place has to offer…

As a budget traveler (as I always call myself) all I ever need is a little help of my best friend , the internet…and as soon as the calendar turns “red” I would always look for a place where the family can relax and have a fun-filled, quality time together.

For this month, we went off to Zambales in a town called Pundaquit..

few minutes of boat ride..voila! there’s a beautiful cove called “anawangin” .

A couple of friends have been here and it’s a beautiful place indeed.  If you are looking for a place to relax and just simply wanna commune with the beauty and wonders of God’s creation…do check this place out…

Life is so simple back here…no electricity, no signs of network (or was it because I’m using Globe LOL) purely nature…

the cove is being surrounded by rocky mountains

and trees those trees which looks like pine trees (but they’re not) makes you feel like you’re in Baguio and yet by the beach .. lol

then few minutes of walk and there’s the “not-so-white beach”

but water’s very clear…

and there’s even a stream on the opposite part of the cove…

There are other islands which you can visit but since we’re traveling with kids, we opted to stay in Anawangin alone… I really wish I could tell you more of it’s beauty however, it’s half an hour past 2 am and my eyes are sooooo heavy

Given this, let me just give you an estimate of the cost : approximately 1500php per person…not bad isn’t it?

If you are travelling in group, I would suggest that you just bring your own wheels with you, for convenience especially if you are travelling with the kids.
