Hot-stamped! and i sooooo LV it :)

hello to my 2 followers :)
kikay moments like this makes me miss my gorgeous kikay buddies Jenny and Ate Sher :( hope to see you soon girls...

It's been over a year since I last made a post and decided to write again and share an experience, this one is far beyond the travel experience I do haha but it's worth sharing for all kikays out there, besides as a budget traveller, I was able to save a lot by not going to the physical store and just had someone purchased it in my behalf hihi... wanna know how? READ ON...

WARNING:  This post was written not to brag but rather help fellow kikays out there not to miss this complimentary service a luxury bag store offers which not everyone is familiar with ... if you don't feel like reading you can stop at this POINT..., seriously, I do not have followers in this blog so I guess not so many would be able to read it anyway haha, unless you are currently logged into your FB account and decided to open this link from there, your choice :)

After contemplating on which perfect bag to keep, I finally decided to purchase an LV (yey!!!) I know the LV's prices are waaaaaay too high compared to other bags that you can purchase in the market but I believe keeping at least a piece won't hurt (ouch!) true enough...LV is one of those lines who never goes ON SALE nor can you find any OUTLET stores, that's probably the reason why they cost too much... but since this is my FIRST LV purchase (hopefully not the last haha - hi DAD, are you reading this post? hihi - thank you big time!!!) I'm gonna go for the classic purse, one of the "not so cheap" piece... I decided to go for a Speedy 30 :) - without the strap.

It's been a struggle for days as to which material to keep, I am really leaning towards the Damier Azure Canvas coz  I love white however, it seems a bit hard to maintain so with a little help of my Personal shopper cum best friend since grade school....Maria Sonnette Atienza and now  Mrs. Lee + Mr. Lee  :) I ended up purchasing Damier Ebene Canvas.

You're probably wondering why purchase in SG well in fact there's an LV store in Greenbelt...well obviously, the price is cheaper in SG, you're gonna save a lot believe me !!! And speaking of savings if you want to save a little bit more, having a tourist visa in SG will let you claim a rebate on Singapore's GST sales tax at Changi Airport http://www.ausbt.com.au/how-to-claim-the-singapore-gst-sales-tax-rebate-at-changi-airport  -

Thanks Ivy for the tip ;) you're such an angel.  So Katz and Haize...if you're currently reading this post which I know you are coz you love me haha, that's a great tip for you when you fly to SG in the coming months :) shop atleast $100sg and get your rebates.

But since my beloved pretty sissy is not a tourist visa holder, so we weren't able to avail it :( but it's okay, still the price is lower compared to LV store here :)

LV Singapore Marina Bay

Crystal Pavilion North, 018972, SG

LV Singapore ION Orchard Turn
#01-23 ION Orchard

For your reference, these are the stores in SG where you can purchase your bag, and there's another one ... not really sure if it's in DF....Not so sure which stores Sonnette went to purchase the purse but all I know is it took them quite sometime to get in coz a lot of people are lined up ... thanks sissy and to your hubby :)

May 17 - the day I received a call from Singapore and it's no other than Mrs. Lee herself!!! This is it I know she's on the store about to purchase the bag :)

Thanks to Viber for the free call :)

There's really nothing so fancy about the bag I guess (though I haven't seen the actual bag at the time of writing this post, actual bag will be in Manila first week of June - will post unboxing then...) but I am more excited with the hot stamping thing I asked them to do with my purse :)

PERSONALISATION - Hot Stamping

Yes ladies, you can have your current or newly purchased Louis Vuitton bags and leather accessories personalized with a hot stamp.  This service is complimentary, call the store nearest you for more details. Depending on the style of the bag, they actually do not recommend it for Speedy or Neverfull because there's not much space/leather to put your initial but I insist haha... taking the risk, I asked Sonnette to have my initials on it ...

May 19... I received a photo message from Viber, just when I thought it'll be the bag itself..here's what I received.... Tadaaaaa... haha which made me wanna drool the more haha...this was approximately 10:00 pm

then at around 11:42pm... there are 5 notifications in my Viber icon... and 2 of which are...
hep-hep...hurray!

"JCE" (for those who knew me you'd know my real name - Holly's my TTECH and online world name so let's drop it hihi :) and oh special thanks to Lee Wei for choosing the Gold ink for the initials, he said it would perfectly match the hardware in shiny golden brass :) you can actually choose from various inks... red, silver, gold, etc...

Looking at the not so bright side you can't sell your pre-loved LV should you decide to... but why sell if you had it personalized in the first place , that's yours to keep girl :)

So that wraps my entire LV offshore experience... hope you'd get your purse hot-stamped too...

Thanks for dropping by :) Found this link helpful? Do subscribe to my posts :)

Have a great day kikays.. muwah!

NATURAL MOM : Baby Wearing, Cloth Diapering and Breastfeeding experience.

Feb 27, 2012 - I gave birth to my 3rd girl "Andy"...

Prior to Andy's birth I have decided to breastfeed her exclusively no matter what it takes ...
I am a work at home and there's no reason why I shouldn't.

Growing family would mean additional expenses so I need to find more ways to save some more...
Then I was opened to the beautiful world of Breastfeeding , babywearing, and cloth diapering , thanks to the technology, with just one click you would be able to access information beyond imagination hehe...

Problem #1...my number concern is that I won't have enough milk supply (coz it was not a success with my first two girls :( --- but after reading a lot of articles and after asking support from a good friend Rej Dela Cruz, I realized I was wrong... breastfeeding is actually a lifestyle . . . you need to know the basics and you just have to practice and do it the right way... thank God I am still breastfeeding Andy (on our 3rd month this 27th May) really... once you know how to do it correctly, it'll be a bliss :)

milk monster in action :)

proper latching is the key to successful breastfeeding...

Problem #2: Breastfeeding in public... there's no way I am gonna expose those breasts in public haha...and then I found out there are wide range of nursing covers which you can purchase...my 2 faves would be Next9 Nursing cover, they are so affordable for only P300 you'll have a stylish cover na... another fave would be INDIGOBaby's Boncho which you can actually use whether you're breastfeeding or not..

Next9's Nursing Cover

wherever you are, you can now breastfeed discreetly :) Thanks to these fashionable dis-COVER-ies :)

Problem #3 ... Disposable diapers are very expensive these days... being aware of such must-have tool as the nursing cover, i found out that there are cloth diapers that will give you the comfort of cloth while  having the same performance as the disposable nappies... and oh, they also come in cute prints too...my personal favorite would by Next9's Whimsy :)

Whimsy by Next9 Cloth Diaper

Andy loves them...

She doesn't use disposable diapers anymore :)

And having found these cloth diapers... I was able to save at least P800 per week alone :) not to mention the savings I get for not having to buy formula for Andy :)

Problem #4... no social Life??? Since I am exclusively breastfeeding this little angel, I am afraid I would not have a social life at all...how can I leave the house without her...it's hard having to carry her wherever I go...(she doesn't drink from the bottle - FYI), so the solution... why not babywear her!!!
it's new to me, but this practice has been in circulation for years...

Babywearing is the practice of wearing or carrying a baby or child in a sling or other form of carrier. Babywearing is far from new and has been practised for centuries around the world. In the industrialized world, babywearing has gained popularity in recent decades, partly under influence of advocates of attachment parenting; however, not all parents who babywear consider themselves attachment parents (wikipedia)
Even Barbie wears her baby too... (funny)

I have 2 slings and so far , I must say that they are both soooo good :) dependeing on my mood , I would use the Saya Baby Carrier or the RingSling ... obviously, most products I use are that of Next9  Thanks Jen !!!
